Usually buy Uniqlo. Past few months my clothes started to faded or torn, so had to buy new T-shirts, shirts & pants.

However, Uniqlo price quite expensive now (no sales), and, after washing few times, it doesent look so nice (the cotton looks like got fur/bulu come out, if you know what I mean, even the Supima cotton shirts also). Somemmore I hand wash (no washing machine). If i use machine then even worse.

H&M..the design so plain now man. And so many brown brown earth colors. Not my preferred colors.

Zara..expensive and the current designs okok only to me.

JD has that casual athleisure streetwear look. But one normal plain ass Nike shirt with one small logo cost RM80-RM100..is clothes memang that expensive, or is our currency/purchasing power weak?

Adidas no need to say..one track pants or track top can be RM200-RM400. Again, so expensive? Because of the brand?

Where else can get cheaper or when does sales usually start? Where else to buy good quality clothes? Budget not much la..salary like fresh grad salary only

Look out for the big sales periods on Shopee/Lazada, most of the brands have official stores. Upcoming 6.6 might have some promos. Usually 11.11 or 12.12 are the bigger promos.
Also check out the brands' official websites.

Usually can find items for good discounts i.e. past season item on sale + promo discount, though size and selection will be limited.

You can also try Original Classic, their website is not updated, but you can visit their stores, they have a lot of past season stuff, some of which is quite cheap.

I like H&M stuff, but I think they are way overpriced for the quality. They are considered fast fashion cheap apparel in Sweden, but once here it's marked up a lot.

I find JD stuff really expensive, never bought anything there.

And also because of weak MYR, all these imported apparel are only going to get more expensive in the future.

I got buy Gildan basic tshirt (selling at around rm10 to rm11), it’s okay but nothing great. The collar stitch is narrow, material thin, and starts to lose shape after a few washes.

Meanwhile, Tesco RM10 tshirts are thicker material, thicker collar stitch and have retained their shape. I would love to know where to buy the RM10 Tesco tshirts on Shopee

Go visit JBRbundle , their bundles from Japan and USA, Nike,Adidas, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, North face, gap, banana republic, clavin klein, lacoste, zara, HnM ,uniqlo. Sometimes can find DnG ,burberry.
The cloths are chemically washed , no odur or ticks or dirt.
Prices rm5 to rm55. If you want a suit for 20 ringgit also have. You want to travel to Australia for winter and need a thicker jacket for winter? 35 ringgit.

i guess u heard it before, but im just gonna tell u again.

UNIQLO, however they try to position themselves in Malaysia, is a cheap brand.

i stayed in Japan for 6 years, and i know.
Quality is OK, but dont expect like high quality.
its just ok quality with a cheap price. design mostly copy expensive brands.

In Japan, if someone who want to look established, successful, they dont wear UNIQLO. People might look down on them. In a way, its embarrassing for some people to wear UNIQLO.
In Malaysia, because they want to look like a good luxurious brand, they try to position themselves like that.
successful, because their designs looks nice (again, copy/similar other brands) then put price like that.
of course the currency exchange also another factor.

As a student in Japan, of coz i go to places like Uniqlo, Gap etc. its cheap and affordable for us.

As a working man in Malaysia, when i go to Uniqlo, my first thought was " OMG, so expensive!! "
because i know the brand, i know the quality and i know how the price should be.
basically i bought a lot of UNIQLO stuff when i was in Japan, but i never ever once bought UNIQLO in Malaysia.

Uniqlo in Japan is like BATA in Malaysia.

I would also say the same about ZARA, H&M, Gap etc. Because some people really bangga to wear those brands when its actually a normal common brand in their home country.

If u want better quality product and branded but cheap, go to those rejected clothes shop. They tore of the original brand, but its still of better materials, maybe salah jahit a bit or something.
Shops like Good2u or something.

Also, affordable, nice design and quality ok are like Padini, Brands Outlet, FOS etc.

This is a noob response. U go try in store also so many peoples sweat on the clothes already la before you buy. Clothes u must wash first before wear anyway. I havent bought from Zalora in a long time but i remember buying shoes and the size didn't fit me and i returned it no fuss.

WTF long post.

I dont think anyone think Uniqlo is atas la. I bought everything in uniqlo these days because its a one stop shopping place and im lazy.
It has everything for anyone for any occasion and thats part of its appeal.
U can get anything in any colour palette and they complement each other nicely and they are always trendy because they are updated with the latest design.
Brands like uniqlo, h&m, zara are all called fast fashion for a reason.

Shops like Good2u is good if you know how to dress. but knowing unkers in lowyat..u will just look like shit because they are mostly outdated random stocks.

And Padini, Brands n FOS are worse versions of Uniqlo.

i guess u heard it before, but im just gonna tell u again.

Since when uniqlo atas brand? You see their shop location and setup also everyone knows it’s not an atas brand. It’s pretty much the same like brands like H&M, definitely not a premium brand. Prices of anything imported would usually be more expensive. It’s very rare for it to be same price and even less chance for it to be priced lower. Plus most of Uniqlo prices difference here is mainly due to the currency exchange, our currency just isn’t as strong as before.

Its not being atas or what, but it simply that uniqlo offers the best in term of value for money in malaysia.

Which other brand that has similar cutting, similar quality of material, similar design or colors at much lower price?

First time I heard people think Uniqlo is an atas brand.

People buy Uniqlo because of value for money & also probably because of their UT t-shirt. Never heard people buy Uniqlo to feel atas. RM19.90 plain T-shirt so atas is it? rclxub.gif

Where got uniqlo expensive? My shirt all bought from uniqlo. Latest price 19.90 only.

Those basic colored round neck short sleeve? The material seems a bit thin

QUOTE(lerijiso @ Jun 3 2022, 10:25 AM)

*
'Noob response'. Like I said, I was just simply saying. And what, do we get marks based on how noob or smart our replies are? Gtfo. And u are the ugly uncle in lowyat la..fking stereotyper..think no handsome guys here is it?

I usually buy all my stuff at H&M, but my wife buys her everyday clothes and underwear at https://www.lascana.com/, because there is a very large selection of products and also the prices are very affordable. Delivery is all over the USA, which is very cool because you don't have to go anywhere to buy your things, just go to lascana usa and that's it.
