Usually buy Uniqlo. Past few months my clothes started to faded or torn, so had to buy new T-shirts, shirts & pants.

However, Uniqlo price quite expensive now (no sales), and, after washing few times, it doesent look so nice (the cotton looks like got fur/bulu come out, if you know what I mean, even the Supima cotton shirts also). Somemmore I hand wash (no washing machine). If i use machine then even worse.

H&M..the design so plain now man. And so many brown brown earth colors. Not my preferred colors.

Zara..expensive and the current designs okok only to me.

JD has that casual athleisure streetwear look. But one normal plain ass Nike shirt with one small logo cost RM80-RM100..is clothes memang that expensive, or is our currency/purchasing power weak?

Adidas no need to say..one track pants or track top can be RM200-RM400. Again, so expensive? Because of the brand?

Where else can get cheaper or when does sales usually start? Where else to buy good quality clothes? Budget not much la..salary like fresh grad salary only

i guess u heard it before, but im just gonna tell u again.

UNIQLO, however they try to position themselves in Malaysia, is a cheap brand.

i stayed in Japan for 6 years, and i know.
Quality is OK, but dont expect like high quality.
its just ok quality with a cheap price. design mostly copy expensive brands.

In Japan, if someone who want to look established, successful, they dont wear UNIQLO. People might look down on them. In a way, its embarrassing for some people to wear UNIQLO.
In Malaysia, because they want to look like a good luxurious brand, they try to position themselves like that.
successful, because their designs looks nice (again, copy/similar other brands) then put price like that.
of course the currency exchange also another factor.

As a student in Japan, of coz i go to places like Uniqlo, Gap etc. its cheap and affordable for us.

As a working man in Malaysia, when i go to Uniqlo, my first thought was " OMG, so expensive!! "
because i know the brand, i know the quality and i know how the price should be.
basically i bought a lot of UNIQLO stuff when i was in Japan, but i never ever once bought UNIQLO in Malaysia.

Uniqlo in Japan is like BATA in Malaysia.

I would also say the same about ZARA, H&M, Gap etc. Because some people really bangga to wear those brands when its actually a normal common brand in their home country.

If u want better quality product and branded but cheap, go to those rejected clothes shop. They tore of the original brand, but its still of better materials, maybe salah jahit a bit or something.
Shops like Good2u or something.

Also, affordable, nice design and quality ok are like Padini, Brands Outlet, FOS etc.

Since when uniqlo atas brand? You see their shop location and setup also everyone knows it’s not an atas brand. It’s pretty much the same like brands like H&M, definitely not a premium brand. Prices of anything imported would usually be more expensive. It’s very rare for it to be same price and even less chance for it to be priced lower. Plus most of Uniqlo prices difference here is mainly due to the currency exchange, our currency just isn’t as strong as before.

dont know. when it was newly opened in Malaysia people were like crazy bout it.

everyone has to have something from Uniqlo.
