Hi, l was wondering if it is okay to wear a body camera as a normal person? l was thinking of the DJI action 2.

l was thinking about it because l need proof in case someone comes and try to be aggresive. It happened in my gym changing room. It was a mall gym in Mid Valley. An indian man out of the blue came and told me to get lost because apparently it was his ' kawasan '. l just arrived and sat down and before l could get up, he tried threatened to go physical.

Afraid he was under the influence of something, l went away. l talked to a few other gym goers, apparently he does that to others.

My question is that, can l only wear it if l am in an area where there are no cameras, because the changing room has no camera.

What happened to me wasn't an isolated case. l complained to the management, they are aware of it. l just wonder if it is a good idea for a body cam for my own defense and if l have to go police in case he come and attack.

So many privacy would be invaded.

Only best course is to get other victims and inform the management or report to the police or viral it lol

No l am not. lt's not into the shower area. It's the area at the entrance. Because that's where you put your things down and sit on the bench. Nobody goes naked there. If you go to that gym in Mid Valley, you will see that bald indian man disturbing other people. If you kena, then you know.

Dude it's a changing room, people get half naked changing their clothes there, and you want to bring a body cam there?

Why not you talk to the gym manager about this than you take law into own hands..

You may get reported as a pervert if you carry the cam around.

Have you think of, what if the Indian guy saw your cam and then he said he approached to you because of your cam?

If you cant beat him, leave him and the gym.

I dont think is smart to have a video after being beaten one day.

Even Action 2 is quite bulky and warm for you to wear on your body. My personal choice is Insta360 Go 2.



Although wearing it in changing room is just dumb and inviting trouble. Aku guna untuk riding mostly and recording action/adventure mostly.

I'm sorry but are you talking about FF or CF MidValley? Because I've been to both and believe me the moment you enter changing room even at the entrance, people do get naked there. Esp angmoh. Mmg selamba goyang telur while chatting with their mates.

yes, you can wear an action camera. just cannot record in changing room, unless the people there consent.

but so far has he beaten up anyone? most likely just threats. what is the reason you want to record? it sounds like you want to stand up against him, then get him to attack you first. your ego is not letting you go?

just check at the gym whether you're allowed to record at those areas in the first place. Else other can sue you for being a pervert, whether you agree with the term or not.

it's the gym's responsibility to provide a safe facility for its customers. if there are many customers that bothered by that guy, you should file the complaint together to the gym management.

I guess TS paid for the gym membership fee, so the management shall take the responsibility to help members to resolve such issue
