I think E8400 is worth it.9's spi brows.gif .Q6600 also produce more heat so need WC.E8400 can get at 7xx what.

actually..it depends on what purpose of your rig..quad really good in video encoding/editing..performance wise..stock HSF already fit for stock speed..extreme oc should go for 3rd party HSF...

e8400 is a really good proc..but i do a lot video work..so not worth for my money..wait a while..today e8400 price really damn 'nice'..!!

Overpriced - Yes
Not worth - Questionable

No doubt, the E8400 is a very good processor indeed and a haven for Overclockers. At current "incredibly jacked up" price by sellers, yes, its not worthit but if its selling at the SRP, this is one hell of a worthy processor. smile.gif
