Not only Russia, many Western economies are suffering, the US is struggling too, this is in large part caused by sanctions and the war in Ukraine. If you remember when the rouble dipped below half of what it was before war, many predicted the demise of Putin and Rusia very soon, and that the war would end soon with Russia in economic ruins, back to stone age like you said. It did not happen, but the opposite that the rouble climbs back up and the EU/US are still buying some but less from Russia ... Sure there will be more hardship to come, but as long as Russia keeps selling to India and China, this can be mitigated. Is this sufficient to keep Russian economy afloat?

Not really. There's plenty here in kopitiam that is very insistent about their pride , honor , maruah tercabar to waste their one and only life to fight an unstoppable force and die just like that according to their viewpoints. They keep mentioning about if China comes takeover Malaysia, its cowardly to just lay down arms and roll over; to them its better to be a suicide bomber rushing in to the invaders etc kind of wild ideas wasting their one and only given life on this Earth. Eh kinda stupid if you ask me.

If you can't sell roubles it would have been nearly zero on exchange right? Who wants a currency that cannot be exchanged eh? I guess you are right on the dot.
