QUOTE(t3chn0m4nc3r @ Oct 20 2007, 03:11 PM) my shop got do service for factories which do precision CAD moulding works... they don need 2GB of RAM... tat i can guarantee u... and adding RAM won help... they need better proc and better GC... not forgetting their mobo... Oh, isit t3chn0m4nc3r bro? Maybe is not CAD but CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) that involve more than 1000 parts need more than 2GB which I found it to be the system requirements for latest Autodesk 2008 version.Hardware Requirements: Recommended For part & assembly design (less than 1,000 parts) RAM 1+ GB For large assembly design (more than 1,000 parts) RAM 3+ GB http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index...3112&id=8410923 But, maybe you're right that, it is only the requirements but not actually used that much la. |

I am using 4GB in Vista 64 too. I must say, there is difference in term of performance as compare to 2GB.
But it will be even better if could grab the 2X2GB Kit lol. |
