![]() THAILAND OPEN: WORLD CHAMPIONS BEAT OLYMPIC CHAMPIONS Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai gave the home crowd much to cheer about as they overcame Olympic champions Wang Yi Lyu/Huang Dong Ping at the GR TOYOTA GAZOO RACING Thailand Open 2022 after four straight losses. The world champions continued to show great form at the Impact Arena, where they’d won all three finals in three weeks at the Asian Leg last year. Puavaranukroh and Taerattanachai fell behind in the opening game but recovered to beat the fourth seeds 16-21 21-12 21-16. The other semifinal was a closer contest, with Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong holding off All England champions Yuta Watanabe/Arisa Higashino 18-21 21-8 23-21. |

QUOTE(bobafett @ May 22 2022, 04:21 PM) Same old story. Lost 1st game to LSF who played 6 games to qualify to the finals. i actually like Li Shifeng's playing style, very calm and composed with good defence. (from what I've seen in last year's Thomas Cup)Vs LzJ played 4 games. What's the score now? (I'm not watching the Thailand open finals) |

Bruh ranking edy becomes quite useless dy. If you look at the opponent LSF fought against, it's no easy feat. Most are players way higher-ranked than him.
And winning a title for Malaysia is glorious, isn't it? Haiyaaa why must be so salty talk about Olympic. Later if he just happened bring back the first gold for Malaysia? Who knows? |

(I'm not watching the Thailand open finals) LZJ was down 4-11 in the decider, catches up and equals the game at 19-19. Li Shi Feng was at championship point at 20-19 but lost the point. Then LZJ was up 21-20, but couldn't win the championship point too. (This was the only time he was leading in the whole 3rd game.) LZJ stole the 3rd game 23-21. howyoulikethat liked this post
