This car as its a 2.0 seems reasonable. What are the most expensive repairs you've encountered with this car? Previously bought a bmw v8 was a horror so wondering if this 328i is ok or also a workshop kaki.

No problem. B48 engine ok. Transmission very good.
failing interior plastic parts is not considered problem. Just replace them.

The rest like any other car. Way more reliable than a Civic.

Suspension, if you buy m sport, the adaptive suspensions are expensive to replace.
Gearbox oil change is around 1K.
Very reliable car, mostly are wear an tear.
328i is pre-facelift are using N20 engine. The engine sound a bit like diesel engine especially at cold start.
How much you plan to pay for it?
I plan to sell mine.

Just get a brand new X70, no need to pening about maintenance.

at least f30 when need to replace parts can get the parts

yeah and the rubber parts become sticky (door panel, aircond vents,etc)

good thing is the parts can be easily found and price not exp

Yes. Get the 330i which was the lci of the f30 that comes with B48. Less issue and more refined
