ADC07 Qualifier Schedule and Procedures


The registrations for GG Game Asia DotA Championship 2007 will be closed today at 11:59PM GMT+8. The organizers will then scan through the entries and will check in the teams who have properly registered.

Match-ups and Bracketing will be released within 2 Days. Teams are expected to frequently check for updates on their respective qualifier tournament site (links will be shown below). Some minor rules and structures may vary in different regions' qualifier and it is the team's responsibility to know the particular changes in rules and structures. For more information regarding the qualifier round, please contact the assigned organizer for your country/region (list of organizers and their contact info will be shown below).

Frozen Throne version = 1.21
DotA Map = 6.43b
Not using the right version and/or map will result to an disqualification from the tournament.

Standard League Timeline

September 29, 2007 to October 5, 2007 - 1st Qualifier Round
October 6, 2007 to October 12, 2007 - 2nd Qualifier Round
October 13, 2007 to October 20, 2007 - Qualifier Quarter-finals Round
October 21, 2007 to October 26, 2007 - Qualifier Semi-finals Round
October 27, 2007 to October 28, 2007 - Qualifier Finals
NOTE: Timeline may vary for regions with different starting number of teams. The above timeline is applicable to qualifiers with 32 participating teams or less. To know the exact timeline for your qualifier stage, please refer to your respective site (link is shown above).

Philippines and Malaysia will have 64 teams for the qualifer. Please refer to your respective tournament site and country forum for the detail info.

When the bracketings and match-ups are available, teams are expected to contact their assigned opponent and schedule their match within the timeline shown above. Teams can schedule their match anytime within the alloted timeline.

Default Time

If both teams cannot decide on a particular date and time, they must play on the pre-determined playday - Sunday from 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM or both teams will be given an automatic loss and will be out of the tournament.


Contact

Team organizer/captain can contact the opponent via GG Game forum P.M. or by sending the opponent an email , which will be provided in the respective qualifer stage site/ forum or contact the organizer for details.

Venue

Malaysia: Malaysia DotA Room 10 and 11

Venue for the games to be played will also be seen and updated in the respective qualifier stage site.


Host selection

the HOST for the game can be:
-> one member of either of the competing team, but both teams should agree upon it. The team who is not hosting will get the first hero pick / first hero elimination choice.
-> Teams may bring/use a third person who has good hosting capabilities to be the host, but still both teams should agree upon it.
-> last option, ask the assigned organizer / marshall to look for a neutral host for their match.
Both teams must play on the neutral host being the last option. If a team does not want to play on the said neutral host, the team will be given a loss or be eliminated from the tournament.
If teams cannot decide which team to pick hero first, they can find an admin and do a coin toss.


Reporting Game

After the game, both teams should save the replay and get the final score screenshot as evidence, and then send it to the designated emails for the qualifier (emails will be listed below)
Replay and screenshot name should be as follows: Country_Team1vsTeam2 (e.g. China_GLvsXc )
The losers will need to go to tournament site, click on Play Next Game button and report the result. (The tournament system is loser reporting system. Only loser can report their loss)
The winners also need to PM the organizer on GG Forum to report the wins after they sent the replays.

NOTE: not submitting or complying with this standard may get the team prohibited from participating in anny ADC's upcoming seasons.

For marshals / referees in matches, they will be present starting at different rounds depending on the local organizer's plan. Please refer to the respective qualifier stage site for details on this.
Games with no marshals / referees will be screened through replay, any team caught violating in any of the stated rules and regulations for the game will automatically be disqualified from the tournament.
