cahill, if change toda/jun high cam, the vtec function is disabled rite? i heard this is remove the fluctuations or something

i think toda got 2 type of cams.

1 is normal high racing cams.which still have VTEC

another one is VTEC killer cam. i think tats the cam tat disable vtec switch over @ high rev but have VTEC on all the time?
is that it?

not necessary to have super high cam, long duration also good. if high cam better do the claying to test.

titanium retainers around 1k+, valve spring also same.

i'd agree with Cahill on this.
if you want a comfortable daily driving machine which is reliable, i guess sticking with a stock engine or with mild modifications is still okay but if you were to play around with high cams, forced induction, etc in search of more power then you might just suffer the consequences.
