Coming from BB background and i am seriously planning for the afterlife.
Motorola has been capturing my attention not only from the pricepoint and value perspective, but also on their security feature namely Lenovo shield.
Obviously I don't have much option to change from BB to other Android devices, but security always my top priority apart from the features and specs. I know it may sound silly, because to Android OS itself, security always has its flaw compared to ios.
I read some on the Lenovo Shield but not sure how it works. Can anyone here share your experience on how this Lenovo shield works on your Moto phones, whether it's just a gimmick like some end point security which never work eventually, but it did help you at some point.

https://www.lenovo.com/gb/en/moto/thinkshieldLeMoto was caught using some sort of "spyware" in their devices in the past...their built-in
SHAREit apps was the one in questioned.... could be just the United Sates of Donald Trump agendas to save his and other American conglomerates from being bought over by the outsiders...see what has happened to ZTE and Who-R-We...so, other Chinese OEMs do not care anymore to enter US market becoz they know they cannot go beyond American conglomerates without facing "accusations" ...
In order to combat that "news", they introduced ThinkShield (using
IBM "Think" naming strategy) to convince the other parts of the world (Europe especially...) that the tech is kind-of American-IBM-approved tech...
FAQs of the LeMoto ThinkShield Mobile Security platforms...
Other OEMs also introduced their own hardware- and software-based security tech such as Sammy (KNOX), Google (Titans),
Tim Team Apple (T1 and T2 chips).
If we care about "long-term" security, the best Android investment is Sammy becoz they offer 5 years Android OTA Security (starting from year 2022 models) ... LeMoto only offers up to 3 years...
However, if we keep on changing the phone every year or two, any OEMs will be fine...
