Streaming / watching using tvbox sometimes hang or buffering.... whats wrong? Our home internet issue or its the tvbox hosts issue? Happens quite often.. very frusfrating... anybody xperience it before?

Brought it back to the shop that i bought they testing using their internet very smooth leh... same amout of speed they also using unifi but they testing in front of my eyes watch the movie for 30 mins super smooth.... so they say no the prob with the box..so whats wrong? Home unifi not stable ka?

Cable... unifi using the tm provided modem and router la didnt change since day 1 serve me well for work and all.. only cacat abit sometimes but i am ok with it...

Those who are in IT Telco data comm line should know that in each TCP UDP packet that goes thought the array of network, especially when it is passing through their isp network, reach packet has an "id" and service port number tagged to it.

If authorities really want to trace you all down, don't cry father mother.

Install wireshark , sniff your traffic. And you will know what I mean.

If you speed test on TV is okay, means IPTV server can't keep up.

It can also be Unifi issue, some sites very slow on Unifi but on Time is fine.

Probably because of their network monitoring, last time they use DNS blocking then changed to deep packet inspection, to block prawn which also affected some sites to become very slow.

Use the money you save on watching pirated tv to buy vpn.

Don't so angry la. Maybe shop router sudah modify IP or use VPN that's why smooth smooth.

On and off it'll buffer and down. Last time i tried before. 100 channels, some of them will be down at any one time. Pay cheap pirated stuff, don't expect any service.

Sound like channels from pirate server, so likely the problem is the server giving you that those "free" channel.

You try to watch Youtube, if that is smooth, you can pretty much confirm its not the box but the app of the channel you use.

Netflix or any official app will do. I got tv box that is from 2017, can watch Netflix no issue. Youtube also still smooth.

If your neighbour knew what model is your router, he/she easily access your router thru admin login. (Provide he/she success hack your WiFi access). Secondly your router remote access is open with easily allow TM side to configure or monitor your network activities. Long long time ago, when /k/ still have a lot of nerd, they will advise the tm user to disable the remote access at the 1st place.

If you want to know your unifi login and password, just give a call to tm hotline.

I google even change router to a better one which costs alot $$ doesnt guarantee you get better speed or no buffer it all depends on the isp.. in this case isp is tm... beyond our control.. so is it worth it spend $$$ on expensive top class router but in the end dissapointed?

Change to better router may help in your issue but not 100% solve the buffering issue.
My tvbox also suffer this issue. However the buffering only towards certain channel during certain day and certain times.
If you really dislike buffering issue, just subscribe official streaming service like Netflix, etc
