I recently had my Unifi internet installed and the next day the LOS red light came on. There was no internet. I called the installer and he came back to check. Do you have installer phone number. If you do, call him and tell him the problem. The installer must attend to the problem like a warranty period after installing. I was told 48 hours but my installer said 30 days. I can’t confirm which is correct.My LOS red light was caused by the fiber cable joint. The joint is where the technician checked the readings to gauge whether your internet has correct connection. There is an acceptable reading range. In my case it was within the range but still no internet. He redid the joint and the reading was higher than before and it is good now.
