anyone uses this before? How responsive are they? i.e. scam whatsapp/sell illegal drugs/cyber harassment

I have no idea how mcmc works.... but all these from their problem anyway.. have law but no enforcer... what can they do with the number? can they track? nope... but if u know someone that keep harassing you.. then police report is much justified the action.

you have to understand the ACT first. Which one of the crime fall to. Eg: Scam is under PDRM. Cuci duit using SMS (provided using legal phone number) fall under MCMC ... otherwise, you will be taichi around

i reported to maybank that their system leak my cc info, with proof, they just pretend they didnt see the email.

We need to data to move on. If Gov no action escalate to opposite as bullet so they can do things for u free.

If u got money and causes severe damages, then get a lawyer to help out.

Maybank big org should able to handle this issue, no need go to MCMC. u can call them can get a tracking ID?

Last time complain about Telekom few times nothing happen keep referring back to tm who close their case. One time complain about digi stealing my money I keep open case there until digi return money. Mcmc didn't act other then once a while sent email saying if no response frm me they will close the case. Basically don't expect much frm them.

2. Escalate to opposition if gov unable to do anything. They will do thing if your complaint useful to them.

Those mcmc suppose to handle case that service provider can't resolve else tai chi to opposition as bullet fight free to u. They paid for that anyway

Used them to report Celcunt stealing my credit by signing me up for services that I didn't apply for. Only got refunded a month and Celcunt pretended they didn't charge me previously. Pretty useless.

They mentioned should go to service provider first ?
If no response only escalate to them ?

I opened complaints on both sides at roughly the same time. They did nothing pretty much to pressure Celcunt to refund me. I might as well have not contacted them in the first place for all the good it did me. I told them that Celcunt only refunded a month and not the full period that I was charged for their hidden services and they still did nothing.

Yup same issue with my digi they stole frm me for months maybe over 6 months. It gotten so bad when I topup the backup phone(never left the house and never used to call out) rm30 the credit went to zero within 10-15 days. Both digi and mcmc didn't do anything so kept the case open for nearly 2-3 months(?) or more finally digi give up sent me email they will refund me rm48 or something I took the deal I know i lost over rm150 or more to them in 6 months. Mcmc did nothing at all other than every few weeks their robot ask if they can close my case.

For telco, U request escalate to manager n ask them give u ticket id

Oh I did each time I contact digi they claim nothing was stolen. Ignore my calls of complain ignore my email. Case are closed. Ask reopen they claim can't reopen. That's why I went to mcmc. They are only good keeping the case open that's about it.

The only thing they will take action against is when it's against the government, royalty or stirring racial sentiments

Mcmc helped me claimed my monies back from tm. So i would say they r ok
