Hi guys,

my kingston elite pro SD 1GB failed me just now,
tried format it with pc, camera, pda etc, and nothing works, all give me unable to format or card error message.

Now I wanna RMA since it is covered by lifetime warranty,

where is the place to RMA kingston products? in this case , the SD card..

anyone with experience on kingston lifetime warranty RMA procedure ?? I have lost the receipt and the box, only got the card right now..

there is three kingston distributor in Malaysia.

Maybe you can try amble-action. their lowyat branch is located at top floor of lyp~

PLEASE do not give wrong information and let people misundertood.
Service charges are those charged by reseller that do RMA for you after your warranty period over.
Direct RMA with distributor are free

u can always approach convergent ... they are free too i rma'ed' many kingstons product over there and they are quite fast less than 2 weeks i get back brand new box they even give u a call to pick it up at zero cost summore

Don't think they do one to one change. For RAM they need to check whether it is due to customer fault like burn-mark a not.

No more warranty already lar friend. 1GB SD card...LIFETIME WARRANTY....means warranty for the product AS LONG AS IT IS IN PRODUCTION. Now where got 1GB SD card anymore. LOL.

Lifetime warranty does not mean as long you are ALIVE, it means while the factory is still churning out the product.

Still Kingston is a big company, maybe they'll just give u a 2GB SD card for free. Go try ur luck.

What about those 80GB HDD RMA and receive a 160GB or 250GB hdd?

Kingston products are covered by this warranty for the life of the product.
Usually they will change a minimum capacity in the market.

Try to RMA a Kingston 256MB RAM then you know already

honestly imo DDR2 gone already... that is why these company can offer life time warranty, because nobody will use old technology after 5 years. 5 is roughly figures lah... so in risk assesment, life time warranty = 5 years only. cmiiw thats imo only lor
