Both bike Vstorm and Morini cant be use for serious offroad, jalan sawit off road perhaps can ..  so it geared up for a adv touring type of bike on paved road..

Serious offroad, no. But jalan sawit & off-the-beaten-track kind of paths, can. V-strom at least, the X-cape I dunno coz it's new.

Actually these types of bikes are more capable than what ppl give them credit for. Especially those with 19" front wheels. I don't blame them, as not many Malaysians would dare take an expensive shiny big bike off-road & risk dropping it.

I'm not the off-roader type myself, until one day I came across a blocked road due to some construction. Either I double back to take the freakin' long way around, or went off the road to climb uphill, cut cross an unpaved & uneven field under some trees with heavy bumps & ruts to get to the other road. At the end of it, I had to jump off the tall kerb onto the road. Definitely not something you would attempt in a passenger car or a streetbike... but once I stood up on the pegs, used my knees & kept loose on the bars, I was surprised how easy & fun it was on my bike. The extra ground clearance & 19" front really made a difference in negotiating the deep ruts & bumps.

Like everybody else, I bought the bike for my urban commute & on-road touring. But hey it's nice to know it actually has some decent off-road competencies in reserve should the occasion call for them.
