Congratulations. you need to call to the KK and check which if your living area is covered by them. or else, ask them to advise you which kk you should visit. Mikeshashimi and BuKeYi liked this post

Congrats... but you have to work out your right hand for the next 10months I guess...
Whether you are going to have your baby deliver in private/government hospital, you still can enjoy the full vaccinations offered by KK... This post has been edited by andrekua2: Apr 22 2022, 01:46 PM |

Yes, get the pink book even though you intend to deliver at private in case of emergency. Private healthcare will usually accept their regular patient only, they will not accept any patient that do not follow-up with them even at other branch( increase risk ). Why in case of emergency ? These were the 2 scenarios I used to hear when the pink book allows you to be admitted to any public healthcare facilities :- a) complication beyond what the private healthcare can handle - under such scenario, the private healthcare will divert you the the public hospital. b) when the mother need to go into emergency labor & the private healthcare location is far away, you need to admit the mother to the nearby public healthcare. |

Nearest I found is at Cheras for KK Ibu & Anak, or can I go KK biasa nearby? Open the pink book even though u are ntending to deliver at private. Who knows what happens, if something critical(choi), they will send u to give rment hospital. That's when u need the pink book, like a passport. If dont have pink book u have to wait long long... Thanks for the replies, so to be safe is to go to KK for check up and to get the pink book, then if any complication during labor we can go to government hospital and it's beneficial to have the pink book right?schools will accept either one.. I worry that the waiting time at KK is very long, but I want to keep the pink book as a record. Anyone has any experience in Putrajaya KK? |
