Nearest I found is at Cheras for KK Ibu & Anak, or can I go KK biasa nearby?

Congratulations. you need to call to the KK and check which if your living area is covered by them. or else, ask them to advise you which kk you should visit.

Try to call KK KL for few times, the general line keep sambung my call to Ibu & Anak section but no one pickup.

Nearest is here already, one question thou. Can I walk-in without make appointment?

Btw, Im planning to deliver in private. But still it is best to have buku pink first I think, correct?

Can walk in.

Yes, get the pink book even though you intend to deliver at private in case of emergency. Private healthcare will usually accept their regular patient only, they will not accept any patient that do not follow-up with them even at other branch( increase risk ).

Why in case of emergency ? These were the 2 scenarios I used to hear when the pink book allows you to be admitted to any public healthcare facilities :-

a) complication beyond what the private healthcare can handle - under such scenario, the private healthcare will divert you the the public hospital.

b) when the mother need to go into emergency labor & the private healthcare location is far away, you need to admit the mother to the nearby public healthcare.

Thanks for the tip, already apply leave and will go there tomorrow. thumbsup.gif

Is the pink book provided by government's Klinik Kesihatan only? How about antenatal checkup at private healthcare like Columbia?

KK only, private one will give you a their own one.
