Thanks if to compare in hindsight should be earning same amount of SGD14K as per MYR however just thankful to have a job after a 3 year hiatus!

Actively applying on linked in, applications just on linked in alone is about 15 per week, 60 per month and 720 per year for 3 years on average

mycareers future is highly dependent as most jobs posted have already been filled and less than 50% are actual jobs but need to have wp/ep/s pass/pr.

Having a PR helps if you have a spouse already working then can convert together however highly depending on children, education, race and etc.

Persistent during interviews and must always research company background and how you have global mindset hence need to be working with other countries and also how you can contribute and adapt to working in SG.

The list goes on and on, however above are just the bare basics you can do now or at least start planning.

It depends on your priorities and everything is a double edge sword point and case:

1) Car , dream on not easy unless earning more than SGD 15K per month however public transport super reliable and you need to have your children school/day care nearby or a bus away. Also , routine is key , meaning children sleep and wake schedules and all.

2) Education much better in SG compared to MY, yes you pay 3.5 times more but quality you get is 10X more plus kids will learn earlier on how to cope.

3) Long term future for kids, SG better but cost of living is only going to go up in SG hence you need to be ambitious to ensure salary grows in tandem.

Hence , you need to look at your set of priorities and will be your prerogative on whether to move or stay put.

impressive and you are above average at least I would say, will go for offer 1 as you are at the age to grow/gain further. Look into annual package for both to compare side by side

Future Prospects (personal outlook) :
Current salary against peers in the industry: Guess I'm average within my circle and industry. But definitely has more upside
Growth prospects: Already plateaued in my current company, both in position and skills set.
Where I will go from here: Thinking of jumping ship now. So there were 2 offers to me, but I'm still thinking about which can propel me to the next level for growth (gaining valuable skills and knowledge, not so much monetary although its added bonus).

So seeking all the sifu-sifu here, have any suggestions or advice for me? Thanks in advance! 🙏

- Career Growth: Still can climb the corporate ladder, but it’s challenging due to being a large MNC. Can work across different technical stacks, but I need to ensure it doesn’t affect my existing responsibilities.
- Work Culture: More stringent SOPs and an older workforce.
- Offer: Basic RM12,000/month
            1-month annual wage supplement
            Bonus: ~2 months (assumed)
            EPF: 15% employer contribution
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office at KLCC; may become 5 days/week).

[B]Offer 2
:
- Career Growth: Flat hierarchy; no corporate ladder. No promotion opportunities, just performance-based increments. No chance to work across different technical stacks because the company needs a senior backend to lead the team.
- Work Culture: Lax SOPs, younger and more energetic environment.
                      Offer: Basic RM14,000/month
                      Bonus: Maximum 1 month
                      EPF: 12% employer contribution
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote (office visits optional)
