Hi Everyone. I'm attending an interview with a Singaporean company for the same kind of position that I'm currently working in.
I currently earn MYR 16,050 in Malaysia. What should I ask for when I speak to the HR of the new company?

QUOTE(Eriugam @ Nov 30 2022, 05:55 PM) I would suggest to aim for at least double the converted value of your annual pay (inclusive of AWS, bonuses, EPF employer contribution). E.g. assuming a prorated monthly pay of 20,000 MYR, you should be aiming for at least 12,150 SGD at a 3.30 exchange rate. You can also lookup the listing in MyCareersFuture to determine the lower, upper bands for the exact position. Thanks for answering. By your explanation, I understand that I should be asking for double the converted value of my annual pay which is as follows: (Salary + Employer contributions) x (12 months + 2 months bonus) = (16,000 + 2,000) x (12+2) = MYR252,000 Exchange Rate: 3.3 = SGD76,364/year Asking Salary= SGD76,364 x 2 = SGD152,727/year = SGD12,727/month So I should be asking for about SGD12k - 12.5k per month to be comfortable. Is that right?
