QUOTE(126126 @ Oct 20 2022, 05:11 PM)
Anyone familiar with the pay scale for finance field in SG? How does it compare with someone from MY?

Eg if someone who is a CFO/Fin Director level in MY who then goes over to SG, how much will the salary be?

MY salary RM100k become Sg salary Sgd100k (1:1)?
Rm100k to sgd50k (2:1)?
Rm100k to sgd33k (3:1)?

Anyone with any idea?

Based on what I know it will be more likely to be (1.5 : 1) for salary package, but the main factor that you should be considering is the growth of that career, bigger platform etcs.

But still most of the company will try to press for some savings, paying you 10-15% lower than market salary… so it’s up to you whether do you find any other factors that attracting you to work in SG.. as there are a lot of people taking this as their stepping stone until they get Permanent Resident status then look for another new job with decent pay.
