I noticed after the firmware update yesterday the N5 now can supervooc charge even when using 3rd party chargers.

Best update ever. Was annoyed earlier, to get SuperVooc needs their own adapter.

But now new dilemma, is it even good to always charging on SuperVooc? tongue.gif

This case looks decent, got hinge protection.. slim profile. Supports MagSafe.

Placed an order, will report back. (Picture isn’t mine!!)

It’ll even the design looks like the Pitaka case I have for iPhone.

Just got the case.. quality is surprisingly good. Somehow the case manufacturer able to copy Pitaka. I had one for iphone and Quality on par.

One downside or rather for foldable casing is the front rely on stickers to hold it tight and same for the back.

Oppo freebie magnetic case would be a better approach. Swapping sim card will be a challenge.

The case is thin so it's more for scratch damages than drop damage obviously.

Also.. I already scratched my front screen protector. Just walk in service centre and get 2 free replacement a year. No question asked.

i just use the free faux leather case since day 1 and love it for its thickness. Front screen isn't protected by anything and I already saw a long scratch on the screen protector. I will replace it after 6 months and the other one before end of year.

Yeah, I think the original screen protector that came with the phone is low quality and gets scratched easily. Mine had micro scratches in day 8. I spill a drop of coffee on the screen and i used a napkin on the cafe table to wipe and immediately got a few micro scratches (can only see from certain angle).

Then I changed to tempered glass screen protector. Much better.

Utilize Oppo free 2 replacement in a year offer. It's applicable for front and inside. cool2.gif

Oh wow… 0.1mm thinner than oppo find n5.

But n5 been good… much better overall experience than z fold.

Tom's Guide (under Tom's Hardware) did a very interesting comparison here: https://www.tomsguide.com/phones/android-ph...-foldable-phone

Based on their testing, it seems that even by removing the front display screen protector on the Honor Magic V5, it still fails to be thinner than the Fold 7.

Seems like Honor is not the thinnest foldable in the market despite their marketing claims. 😌

Since my post, many others able to debunk Honor claim. Samsung z fold 7 is thinniest.

Somewhat Zf7 is good, just edges too sharp for me. Even this year not bad, extra warranty etc is cheaper than zf5 days.

So sticking to n5 for now, happy with it.
