6 pot might need bigger and wider rim to have enough clearance
If you upgrade to 6 pot you need to check the weight of the set of 6 pot, if it is too heavy from your current one then you are adding more unsprung weight which is bad

Depending on your car, 6pot maybe overkill.

Unnecessary unsprung weight.

Maybe can look out for A35/A45 brake kits.

They should be more than enough, unless you doing some very heavy engine modding.

If your wheel can fit in 6pot caliper, go for it as I believe the 6pot will be more linear than 4 pot.

.

The more important question that many people don't consider is brake bias. A car with good balanced front/rear brake force will feels like you slide forward instead of excessive nod during heavy braking.

Like some other suggestions, a safe bet is to get AMG kit designed for your car.

Otherwise, get a professional to fit something right sizs that don't overpower your rear brake. It is not always bigger the better. Else get a 4 piece set that change all 4 corners.
