I would not have blame TT or the board on LUKAKU saga, obviously the player himself is the problem.

Previous board did backup TT for a need of a striker and is not some youth prospect, but a 100m proven striker in EPL and just won Seria A title. Of course TT can say he prefer HAALAND/MBAPPE/CR7/MESSI/KANE but CHE still need to balance the book, if TT think LUKAKU is not what he want and have an alternative lesser than 100m i believe the board will more than willing to grant him the player. With 100m, TT could have choose almost any striker outside the top10 maybe. But TT gave the OK for LUKAKU and think he will able to fit in the system, i would not say TT fail but more to LUKAKU give up too early.

Same for STERLING, if TT gave the OK, i expect he will be able to utilize him in the system. BOEHLY say he going to back the manager, even so we still have a transfer budget limit and salary cap, so TT would have to accept that he might not get all the target he want and need to settle for alternative and he might also not be able to buy a new player in certain position unless he can make space in the squad by selling some first (else our loan army continues). But as long as BOEHLY given TT the final say on the incoming and outgoing than that is good enough for me.
