if price is right yes sell him...Kante havent been good in the league for 2 years now...all the rushing back from injuries, playing non stop took a tol on his body, we arldy maximize Kante mileage meter...so if Chelsea gets a offer of 65million plus for Kante from Man utd or PSG just sell him, dont forget he on high wages as well 290k + per week...with the money we get we can upgrade our midfield which is for me the most important part of the team to upgrade in the summer beside the defences.

A good midfield wins you titles...just look at Real Madrid midfield Toni Kroos, Casemero, Modric....8 years they won 5 UCL titles & few league titles.

Chelsea at the moment if we being serious only have 1 good midfielder in Kovacic...at a club like Chelsea we need more.

Tuchel arldy said its a rebuilding process which will take 2-3 years if we get the recruitment right in each position of the field to compete foor the league.

Next season top 4 going be even harder now with more team spending money to get better and we just lost 2 of CB's for free.

But TT make himself clear that Kante is important

Kante is important if he can play less games and have more time resting...he arldy 31 years old...this season I saw him tackling slower now, losing the ball, lost some pace....he not so influential in 38 games in the league. Hence why you can see Chelsea not finishing in high points tally.

My problem with Kante is he always in that number 10 position to make the pass....problem is kante is damn shit at passing in the final 3rd consistently...most time pick the wrong passes to the attacker.

Chelsea not wining the title anytime soon also. Man city & Liverpool keep getting 90+ points.

Either one of Kante or Jorginho have to go this summer, both go also I dont really care because its time to rebuild the midfield, should have rebuild it last summer. This team needs a defensive midfielder urgently, we let Matic go 5 years ago and till now still havent replace him and we havent finish higher points since he left.

KANTE is one of the best if not the best if u mention DM. Problem is i think TT formation prefer a CM. He need CM that can drive the ball forward and look for pass in opponent half. KANTE can drive the ball forward but he struggle finding the correct pass.

Direct sub to KOVA is actually RLC, i think he have similar trait but whether he able to improve further is another question. But TT have been giving him good play time recently. Question is do we need 2 KOVA in midfield ? Or just 1 + JORG that good at cycling position or 1 + KANTE that good at winning ball back ?

But i dont expect we do anything about the midfield, as we have more pressing matter in CB, then LB and ST that we complain all season.

Kante is not a DM ...do you even know what a DM is ? I never seen Kante sit and hold the midfield he not discipline enough for that role, he always moving everywhere ... Kante is box to box midfielder.....Kante was one of the best...he not anymore in the league. That why Tuchel wanted a midfielder last summer and he got Saul, who he didnt use much that not his fault cause the our board is useless in scouting players.

The reason why I want to rebuild the midfield because we need more presence in the midfield, more strength, better range of passing , faster transition....we play a 2 man midfield in the 3-4-3...so we need a number 6 / DM ...someone like Rodri/declan rice/tchoumeni/Yves Bissouma/julian weigl...he has everything I just said before...

Getting a DM allows our attackers to attack more without worrying about the defensive dutys as much. If you remember the time we had Matic + Kante we were so solid in defensive phase because all the attackers can go all out, full backs can overlap more...because Matic was there to protect the backline.

Jorginho is our only DM at the moment but problem with him, he plays a different style of DM, we need another profile of DM....because honestly for all the good jorginho do , I just cant take anymore longer.. players running past him easily.


So, next season we need Kovacic + (A NEW number 6/DM) , either keep jorginho or kante and sell the other one, saul can f off, ruben sell , bring back billy gilmour or ampude as backup. Plus if we get a DM....we can finally go to a 3 man midfield , Kovacic + ( A NEW number 6/DM) + Mount / Conor Gallgher /Kante.
