Which helang family he is from?

I think he built something very unique and definitely solved a big transportation problem.
However he lacks the prowess and ability to express the dreams to his investor, like Elon Musk.
His endeavour into the stock exchange was made seemingly out of desperation without much thought into the public perception.

so where is Uber, Amazon in malaysia?

He is from rich family, but he never settle down and press ahead with new business when he could choose to chill and stay with family biz. Compared to those Tan and Yeoh families kids, none step out of comfort zone and did and succeed as much as he does.

Yes, Grab treats vendors and riders unfairly some may say. But end of the day, they exist becuz of demand. We are still paying for it and using Grab while we have other options like FoodPanda, ShopeeFood, Fat boy's rubbish Airasia food etc.

They had came a long way since then, bringing their unique style and engagement to suit Malaysia consumer needs.
So, can't say they are still copycat

If by year 2023 Grab did not listed on any stock exchange, Grab has to pay compensation about $2bil to Uber. So it is a strategic move for Grab to rush for SPAC.

the other thing they showed was proof of concept.

if they somehow manage to monetize this 'proof of concept', his company could be just as big as any fortune 500 company in the world!
