Does anyone using SPayLater? Good or Bad?

So far got no issue

how SPayLater works?
it seem like same like credit card.. y dont use credit card instead?

if pay 1 month later = no charge
2 or 3 month installment got some % of charges involved

isnt credit card is better if u clear it everymonth?
summore credit card got points or cash back etc..
i would say using cc is better than paylater

I did... Without realizing it.. few days later only realized no debit for shopee in my acc, checked and saw i used spaylater as a payment method instead. Paid the bill off when it appeared a couple of days later.

i just started using. baru nak due first time.
mainly coz heard can pay on weekends using amex.

I use it just to use 10% shopee coin voucher.
I don't like that you cannot reduce the limit.
You also cannot cancel spaylater once you have activated it.
Scared one day when I'm on a frenzy random buy things with borrowed money.
I will research how to complain to tribunal later if I motivated.

Good if pay back within a month

Buy something eg Rm1k pay in installment in 2,3,4,5,6 month.
interest is like rm15-20 bucks per month.

treat it like CC
use this month pay all next month
so far so good

Maybe for peeps who dun have cc or dowan use cc ... tamo ada hand tail.

Its okay. Basically keep adding all your purchases in one billing and then you pay lump sum

I guess the plus side is it'll allow me to keep tabs on my spending in that month in lump sump lol

Never used the installment. I have more than enough money to pay full lel. Also interest rate.

I guess shupee does this to reduce friction for buyers and it worked somehow. Meh shupee is smart at playing pipu's minds

Sometimes certain vouchers (I would say most vouchers) are not eligible with credit card purchase. Is either shopee pay or spaylater

So i use Spaylater and pay later with credit card to also get cashback from credit card. Double win

Some ppl not qualified for credit card. This is to target these ppl.

How to increase the credit limit? Mine only RM600

Customer service told me the system automatically gave the credit limit. Can increase base on your spending pattern. Not sure how exactly.

I think you need to spend a lot using your shopee account.. If they see you're a big spender then your credit limit will increase I think

Good. 1 month is almost always 0%. Like having a tab at Shopee. Each month can see how much you spend. Then can pay back anytime before due date so pay on day to take advantage of CC cashback or to push the payment to next month CC statement if overspent.

More expensive items usually have 3 or 6 months 0%.

Just use and pay back on time. I also started with 500 or 600 or 700. Now is RM8330. Was going to use to buy iPhone 16 Pro Max but Paylater RM200 cashback voucher finished so fast.
