Which one to get if I need to use it for casual browsing, media consumption, reading news, edit photos and test some IOS apps?

Mini 6 most suitable with my budget bit seems like worthy to wait for ipad air 2022 to be available in Malaysian market. Topup a bit more seems like ipad pro also good. Haha.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm not apple user yet.

After some consideration, I ordered an ipad mini 64gb with discounts from lazada birthday.

Then added a few more hundreds on targus cover, baseus pen, tempered glass and external ssd.

Price, size and spec just right for my liking.

Can the ipad mini watch video straight from ext hdd ?
Or still need itunes

Actually im the same with yr situation but 64gb is a no for me
But then 256gb for ipad mini is 2.9k and ipad air 256gb is around 3k something
Might as well add another 500 for 128gb ipad pro

I got same dilemma with you initially with ipad mini.
64 vs 256 price different quite big
if can reach 256 price, might as well top up a bit to buy ipad air - see you need that air size or not
another top will get ipad pro 128 - see you need that size and features + spec or not, alternatively can consider ipad air 5th gen

all down to budget, screen size and processing power that you really need.

64 GB currently is enough for me, anything I just keep it in external ssd that I formatted as exFAT which works with android, ios and even windows.

tested with a video from own camera with .MOV, can straight watch from external HDD.

Hi, wanted to ask for on an update on your Mini 6 usage. 64gb enough? Small form factor worth it?

64gb enough for me as I will transfer my files to external drives or upload to cloud. Form factor wise good enough to me. If i need something bigger, i can use laptop.

If you need to do work with it, i recommend buy bigger size and storage. Ipad mini no slough either.

Personally, I always prefer something bigger and this is why I went for the 9th generation iPad last year (with black bezel and also the last batch with the physical button)…

This iPad is indeed the perfect size for work (I have Microsoft Office installed, along with a BT-paired Logitech keyboard) and play + leisure actually, and I’m more comfortable with it compared with the iPad Mini or iPad Air!

I agreed on this, the mini size is great for portability
even good at the hands of kids to carry around

I choose the mini over other iPad mainly because of its size. Can fit small bags and is easy to handle and carry around. Best for casual use ...
