Like you said, I find the Lycosa a little plain. And no, I'm not changing my tarantula to a Lycosa.....
Still waiting for the stupid Mako to be released though..........

I'm glad they took off the glowing lights! Don't need to cover it now!
Hahahahahhaa........ Oh..... I also just converted my friend to a Razer supporter. Just bought him a Diamondback with the free Neopane pack...... He needs the pack more then a 3G sensor Also, found out my dad might be buying an Apple Macbook. Thinking of Razerfiying it too. Pro|Click Mobile I guess is the most obvious choice. I feel tracking the screen makes a big impact using a gamer's grade mouse on RTS games. Playing C&C3 using my Diamondback (my laptop in the office) was a blast.
Felt it was much easier then using my older MX500 at home at the time. This post has been edited by blacktrix: Oct 27 2007, 06:34 PM |

Agreed with Everdying. The new DB3G would be your best bet as it's the same sensor used in the DA and has a similar shape to the Krait.

Yup. USD 299........ It's one of the more expensive consumer 2.1 speaker systems on the market.
It's actually more of a THX speaker with the Razer logo stamped on it more than anything........ so that should be a good thing, right? |

No.... But if you set at 1000Hz and then switch to 500Hz and can't tell the difference? Switch to 500Hz...... it draws less power.....

Which Razer mouse are you using? If it's the DA, have you updated your firmware and your drivers? There was a problem with some motherboards and the DA

Agree about PSU as well. A mouse really doesn't draw alot of power, or more like enough for it to matter.
And make sure you update your drivers for the DB and not the DB3G if you're using the original DB. |

Tarantula is actually BETTER for gaming, mainly because of the Anti-Ghosting technology and also the built in memory, so you can bring your profiles without installing any drivers at a friend's house or LAN party.
Also, do you REALLY need all the macro keys? Even for WoW, I can't find a use for them all. And you can set up to 100 profiles and can be switched to be game specific also via the drivers, so don't worry about the pre-sets. If Backlighting isn't important to you (For me, the less backlighting, the better actually), then it should be a problem. The Razer logo glows too, so that's quite cool.....Oh, and the mirror finish just looks sooooooooooo much sexier...... |

Actually, the Diamondback isn't that big, and with the LAN pack, it's quite convenient to carry around.
And yes, I bring my Mouse pad in my laptop bag because some surfaces are glass or reflective which screws with the mouse. And I HATE the touchpad when I'm doing work. |

I use my Laptop on the go, so the desk varies......
Can be a regular office desk, down to a coffee table.... so a portable mouse pad is a MUST for me. Luckily the Exactmat and Rest quite easy to fit in my bag, even better since my ExactMat has a bag, thanks to Everdying |
