Well, first of all, I DON'T WANT a 5.1 setup because I don't have enough space to set it up. Second of all, most of the 2.1 System's satellite speakers are either too big to be placed on my desk, or they are horribly under powered.
The Mako are the first that I have seen that are downward firing and have a small footprint for the satellites. I'm not concern about gaming performance as I hardly game on it, but I DO listen to alot of music and watch movies on my PC........
And like Ever said, to each their own. Yes, I'm a Razer Fan boy, but I only buy stuff I have a need for. Slight, yes... but still a need. I'm not buying the Barracuda or Piranha because I don't like to use headphones, and I'm thinking about how much I voice chat on the PC (Read: never)...... but the Mako are very tempting.
But I'm with Ever too.... I'd take the 10 Mustangs too......
for this reason alone u shouldnt be looking into a gaming company for audio stuff....unless its gamin related (even then i wouldnt recommend it)The Mako are the first that I have seen that are downward firing and have a small footprint for the satellites.
