I always adjust the mouse sensitivity via Control Panel to make everything smoother. Try check that option out. smile.gif

Razer Mako already on sale in Sim Lim Square Singapore at SGD629...after discount is SGD599

first impression, the subwoofer is huge...much bigger than anticipated...and it's heavy...really heavy...satelites sizes are good...

the remote control is really really cool...especially the touch part...abit lag though and need to get use to it...

sound wise is good...i'm not an audiophile but to me, it's good enough...i tested the speaker on an open environment, so didn't manage to feel the surround sound...according to the sales ppl there, you will be able to experience the surround capability in an enclosed room...

managed to take one pic of the mako woofer, satellites and the wired control...didn't manage to take the pic of the packaging since too excited to see mako appearing out of nowhere...

conclusion...the only thing that is holding me back is the price...SGD600 is really really steep...

Both All IT and Thunder Match hypermart has them all.
If in case they don't have, you can also get it from C-Zone.

And when you say Barracuda, do you mean the headphone or the soundcard?
Actually, in either case, get neither. The Headphones snap waaaaaaaay to easily and the soundcard doesn't really feature anything special. I bought the soundcard because at first, they announced the Mako with support for proprietary HD-Audio port, but now they took that feature off. You'd get more options, sound quality AND bundle from the ASUS Xonar D2 sound card (http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,2268255,00.asp). As for the headphones, there are much better ones out there. I don't use headphones, but I'm sure some of the guys here will have their suggestions.

Yeah, I'm a Razer supporter, a die-hard one at that. But if it's a bad product, it's a flat out BAD product.

If I were you, I'd hold off the Lachesis too, mainly because there are still alot of issues and the laser doesn't make THAT much difference. The DeathAdder is still the current favorite because of the body shape and performance. But if hump-backed mouse arn't your cup of tea, try out the Boomslang CE.... Bigger body and featured packed too. Finally, if all else fails, the Diamondback 3G is still the perennial favorite. Razer's Laser mouses still have alot of bugs to call them perfect. The 3G IR sensor mouses on the other hand (The Deathadder, Boomslang Ce AND Diamondback 3G) ARE perfect. close to zero prolems, there's a body type for everyone and they work extremely well.

And of course, if you can wait, the new Razer Salmosa is going to be announced VERY VERY soon.

Nice oppinion there. In that case, is there any distinguishable difference between the Diamondback 3G and the DA? Which do you think is the better of the 2? smile.gif

DeathAdder is the best mouse i ever used biggrin.gif

I kinda like the DA as well. But of course, i was worried about the extra buttons. I never used any mouse with more than 3 buttons before and with buttons at the sides, its going to take some time to get used to though. Thats why i still stick with my Krait for now though.. smile.gif

Besides, the blue light of the DA will be a great match with my Lycosa as well tongue.gif

I move to DA from an ordinary mouse too.

But I never experience any issue with those extra buttons. smile.gif

Thats a good news. I actually "tried" a normal Dell mouse that have extra 2 buttons and its causing a problem to me at that point though..LOL..

Really need to try out the DA first though. Any place that I will be able to feel the mouse around?LYP?
