TM says SWU only for 100mbps @99 and 300mbps @129.
Don't have 800mbps etc. I'm waiting for them to call me.

Basic SWU (Just Broadband)

800 mbps - RM 269
500 mbps - RM 199
300 mbps - RM 129
100 mbps - RM 99 or RM 119

Managed to get the SWU package 300mbps @ 129

Had to walk in to TM Point.

I received a call from TM this morning but for some reason the guy don't wanna offer me SWU. So I went to TM Point since free today.

At TM Point they will try to shoo you away lol. So you must stand your ground and request for SWU package upgrade. They will say it's only offered to customers requesting to change to Maxis. So if they say that, u just say yes u considering changing to Maxis.

They say under SWU only got 300mbps @ 129. Higher speed don't have. Only got 500mbps @ 199, 800mbps @ 269 (or 259 can't remember).

The staff told me those who got 159/169/179 for 800mbps is because of their old package, they were paying this price for higher speed back then or something like that that's why they got 800mbps upgrade.

Anyway, they're confirmed my upgrade to 300mbps at 129. TM technician will come to my house to install new router but they told me to just reject the router or keep it since I don't need it. Speed will come into effect on the day they come to install that new router.

Yeah the staff did mention to me the router, iirc it's RJ6? Or RG6? Congrats haha, mine's coming tomorrow morning.

After contract expire price will be the same RM 129 for 300Mbps ?

Now 300Mbps package no longer come with any other entertainment package, at least for me.
My bill just internet services RM199 less RM70 with free calls (not sure limited calls time or unlimited)

Same here, I went to tm this morning and wanted to change to maxis bcos maxis gave me RM149, and free 6 months monthly fee.
I told him this is the offer that maxis gave me, but TM staff gave me a better offer, that is 300Mbps rm129 per month, plus 6 months free monthly fee

You mean you tried applying for transfer but Maxis couldn't locate your address?

Basic Unifi YV pack included in 300Mbps SWU 2.0? So what is the commitment, RM129 same?

I suggest considering also Mecool KM2, Nvidia Shield TV Pro (expensive) or Google Chromecast with Google TV
I myself am using the Mecool KM2, which is actually a rebranded Skyworth LEAP-S1
TM actually rebranded the same box for their 1st gen android tv box, but with a much more locked down firmware + no microsd slot
Personally I avoid stick/dongle style ones due to overheating concerns.
