My friend who was on 100Mbps/unifiTV@RM129 registered for Maxis 300Mbps recently. 2 days after getting the transfer ID, TM called and counter offered him RM129@300Mbps + free 6 months bill (since Maxis offers this) but with no unifi tv.
I read somewhere that SWU offer supposed to end last month. I guess the new offer now includes this 'free 6 months'. Not sure what the TnC is though. For Maxis it is free starting from the 3rd month bill onwards.

129@300 + 129x6 free... this one win lio smile.gif

It's about 150 metre distance and two corners to navigate.
Each pole is needed for every 30 metre.

I live in a kampung house and the land is situated behind the main unit.

Now I'm at the mercy of the tm technical team. Whether or not they wanna invest in poles to my house sad.gif
*
Logic tells me if your house address is on their fiber-ready database, and they have accepted your order, how they gonna fulfil it and pull fiber is their issue, not yours.
Tnc should also suggest anything before FTB is their scope, not yours.

Alternative is try Maxis, see how M handles it.

However if you are wealthy like a guy here, just pay it to satisfy your urge smile.gif

Because there are cases of cheating to get Public IP,
then TM needs to come to the premises to check whether it is eligible or not to get a Public IP
*
Just get a used Cctv to show them, easy.

Yes somebody is cheating but not the customers. Who promised Public ip but simply change to private in the 1st place?

Now that PH is back in power, it is wise to pause entering into any new 2 years contract.
Wait and see.

I think cheaper subscription fee is better for now, since most people don't really need the high speed plan, just improve the stability and connectivity 1st.
low latency and stable internet and optimized routing actually is the most important...otherwise 2/5/10gbps also useless, u still can't hit the speed when u really need to get something done...
*
True. My family for one, doesn't need super bandwidth.

Gorbinds motto was speed double, price halved. Lowest 50mbps at Rm39 is good.

Najib as a prime minister did lower the price and raise the speed at 2015 from 5 10 20mbps to 30 50 100mbps.
Well my Maxis fiber was 10mbps from 2012 to 2018, until Gorbind upgraded it to 30 then.
To date, it is still 30.

To me, it was him that made the difference, nobody else.

30mbps 89> 69
so total RM73.15 per month for basic internet. I though yhis price can get 50mbps but no well

The 2 years contract looks like a trap for the target groups.
OKU, B40 or old folks once they cannot afford and wish to terminate, please pay the remaining months balance, Tqvm.

Old folks and OKU take bus has 50% discount, or free. Here it proudly says a 22% reduction.

This announcement is a joke.

Current minister of communication is a piece of joke. Cannot beat Gobind level.

People can kept dreaming of cheaper internet plan prices with the current minister...😅😅🤭🤭
*
This announcement is just a political stunt, no sincerity in helping rakyat.

I am pretty sure his deputy's Teo's response if asked is, "I have no comment" 🤭🤭

Actually why everyone think that tm comes out new plan will definitely do free upgrade for existing customers like last time?

Maybe this round they just come out higher speed plan with higher price.

Close to 50% of TM is hold by a combination of KWSP, KWAP, Khazanah and etc.

Why would they hurt their own investment portfolio tongue.gif

Then give free speed upgrade only lo.

Repeating unfulfilled empty promises tarnish your ministry and government images, unless only intention is to fish vote.
