QUOTE(soonwai @ Jun 29 2022, 11:33 AM) Here's the least technical way I can think of. Hmm just tried visit the website by connecting home internet (LAN cable)1. Get your ipv4 from https://www.whatsmyip.org. 2. Ping the address from from your phone mobile data. 3. If can ping, then turn off your house wifi router. 4. If ping stops then your house is public IP. 5. If ping continues then your house is private IP. ping the address by connecting phone hotspot and unplug LAN cable Unable to ping ![]() |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Jun 30 2022, 12:27 AM) Can be 2 possibility: I am using Asus router and on 300mbps plan, should be on public IP? 1. You're on public IP and your house router is ignoring ping. Possible but unlikely. 2. You're on private IP and the router doing CGNAT for you is ignoring pings. Highly likely. So most probably, I'd say that you're on private IP. |

QUOTE(Barricade @ Jul 21 2022, 05:34 PM) Woohoo! Went to TM Point Shah Alam and applied for RM129 for 300Mbps. I didn't know about this until I saw KIOSO facebook sharing. Previous I was on 100Mbps RM129 package. No more contract. Change to RM 129 for 300mbps without contract?Currently I am paying RM 139 for 300mbps, yet TM point only open on weekday |

QUOTE(westlife @ Aug 4 2022, 05:58 PM) Yes. Have the same offer also. It should be the best deal currently for any existing unifi customers with no contract and to enjoy faster speed of 300Mbps and paying even lower than 100Mbps price for two years and subsequently paying 100Mbps price for 300Mbps speed. But depends how many family members are in your house and how many devices they own I personally find that 300Mbps is considered the that will suit most household the best which gives enough speed for all members and again have rooms for future needs. |

QUOTE(MyProLife @ May 5 2023, 08:22 PM) If to be fair, tm should restructure the price matrix as below I paying RM 139 for 300mbps After speed upgrade (broadband only) 100mbps should cost 89 300mbps should cost 129 500mbps should cost 159 800mbps abolished, upgrade all 800mbps normal price customer to 1gbps For these enjoying far lower price for 800mbps due to grandfathering, just let them be, no further add on or discontinue any add on they have until they upgrade to 1gbps IMO 2gbps is a scam anyway. Nothing much to say The reason is because the higher upload speed if upgrade to 500mbps (100mbps upload) should be useful for most users. 50mbps upload should be for lower price tiers only |
