QUOTE(doobidoo @ Aug 18 2022, 04:13 PM) Hi guys, unifi broadband and unifitv subscription are related, but separate.May I know anyone receive the free Disney+ hotstar under stay with unifi2.0 basic plan? I upgraded my plan from 100mbps to 300mbps @ rm129. I'm have not received the Disney+ account yet. Not sure when TM will send to me... your broadband subscription bundled with unifitv or not? someone above responded and gave you link to activate - IF you have unifitv subscription. |

QUOTE(doobidoo @ Aug 18 2022, 06:00 PM) No, my package is not bundled with unifiTV. cannot go around comparing like that when it comes to TM's unifi. When I signed up the contract at TM point, the customer service lady told the new package come with free Disney+ for 2 years. So I wonder is there anyone get the free Disney under same package? each customer gets different package, different bundling, different pricing, different treatment. rubberstamp MCMC said "baca terma dan syarat betul-betul sebelum men-titik-kan surat jualan" |

QUOTE(sgpdsmss @ Aug 21 2022, 01:46 PM) i request few times ..they still not allow for me to get swu offer ... got la... even when i installed 100Mbps few months ago. it's delivered separately after installation of fibre BTU and router.i think will transfer maxis 300m 149 with free 6months ... hope maxis doing good at my area ..... just sad..they dont provide any 4g sim card dongle already ..unless got postpaid unlimited + fiber ..then only they provide ... you need to submit port-out application to rival; ONLY THEN unifi MIGHT counter offer for you to STAY WITH UNIFI. blindly go to ask unifi for better offer is a futile exercise. |

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 24 2022, 10:43 PM) [attachmentid=11236921] I check mine.I get this list in MyUnifi app when clicking "Upgrade Plan". 800Mbps "from RM279", what does that mean exactly? Does anyone know what is the monthly price I will pay? So "WTF" that I can actually get my current packaging 500Mbps/RM249 reduced to 500Mbps/RM219? But will this trigger penalty of existing contract because it's reducing price? This post has been edited by Oltromen Ripot: Aug 25 2022, 12:14 AM |

I just concluded a chat. This concerns the on-going "Extraordinary Campaign (Existing Users)" that is supposedly offered through app and web portal. RM209 500Mbps - Extraordinary Unifi Plus Box/Mesh RM219 500Mbps - Extraordinary Unifi Plus Box + tv pack RM279 800Mbps - Extraordinary Unifi Plus Box/Mesh RM289 800Mbps - Extraordinary Unifi Plus Box + tv pack My current plan is "500Mbps - Try Me Ultimate (Mesh Wifi) RM249" which includes Unifi Plus Box + Ultimate Pack + Deco M9 Plus. I am looking forward to "500Mbps - Extraordinary RM219". That's a price reduction of RM30. Small, but still a potential reduction. Key takeaway of what CS wrote in my chat:

QUOTE(papyrous @ Aug 25 2022, 10:30 AM) anybody going through with the upgrade with TV pack, what's the price difference between Ultimate and the rest? fibre contract (start w/ 2 years) and tv pack contract (start w/ 1 year) are separate, even if they had bundled and started at the same time.According to CS chat, if you take up/switch to rateplan without tv pack bundled, you can contract any tv pack separately now or later, at its prevailing price. e.g. Ultimate Pack current prevailing price is RM49.90 But, if you have current tv pack bundled in, and still on-going, and you wish to switch to a fibre without tv pack, tread carefully and make sure you did not trigger penalty regarding existing tv pack contract. |

QUOTE(OlgaC4 @ Aug 25 2022, 12:09 PM) You don't need 500mbps for video conferencing. Spent the money on good hardware. Haih....VC you need 100mb will do. 300mbps also too much Why you focus only on the download rate? I also know even 4K don't need 100Mbps download. I need to consider multiple concurrent users. The deliberation is not only download rate. For video conferencing, have to consider the upload rate as well. If there is a 300Mbps download / 100Mbps upload package, then yeah, I'll take it. But there's none, right? So 500Mbps download / 100Mbps upload is the lowest entry for my requirement. This post has been edited by Oltromen Ripot: Aug 25 2022, 12:28 PM |

Can I suggest?
for you to disable all IPv6-related configuration, let it rest for a day or two, then re-enable. or, export settings into a file, reset router to factory, start reconfigure from scratch. |

Extraordinary Campaign for existing user.
as at 29th August 2022 I checked with 100> 4 Promotions as to moving my current 500Mbps (RM249) to 500 Mbps (RM219): This offer is for UPGRADE; NOT to downgrade or to maintain the same (bolded caps is my own stressing) aniq8676: This promo is offered from 22/Aug/2022 until 31/Dec/2022 zellleonhart: received a call from TM ... Confirmed that the promo price is PERMANENT even after 24 months contract ends. .... asked 2 different livechat CS agents, both said it's permanent. The T&C and FAQ documents never mentioned that you will fall back to original price after 24 months. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Oltromen Ripot: Aug 29 2022, 05:22 PM |

QUOTE(stella_purple @ Aug 29 2022, 05:47 PM) gila if i wilfully trigger penalty clause RM249*14mth remainder- payable immediately - only to be stuck in a fresh RM219*24mth. Otherwise, I don't mind refreshing contract to a new 24mth if I can get RM249 adjusted to RM219. This post has been edited by Oltromen Ripot: Aug 29 2022, 05:54 PM |

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Aug 29 2022, 06:08 PM) Oh so if you want to maintain the same speed (to RM219) you'll get charged penalty for your current package? I didn't ask specifically, and CS didn't mention specifically. We just end the conversation politely at "the offer is for upgrade bla bla bla not maintain or downgrade bla bla bla", as that already carry the implicit penalty for other than upgrading. it's cheaper to continue paying excess RM30/mth difference for the remaining 14mth than immediately having [to pay RM249*14 AND still having to pay RM219/mth for another 24mth], right? QUOTE(KcX35 @ Aug 29 2022, 06:36 PM) ah ok got it, so currently my package is 500mbps and I am paying RM 200 monthly, based on the package, i got its pretty pointless to upgrade right? if you are already paying exactly RM200, then what benefit do you get for paying additional RM8 (without tv pack)? or additional RM18 (with tv pack)? that will depend on your own analysis whether beneficial or not. maybe you don't have a tv pack before and this little upgrade gives to a tv pack and an android-variant unifi plus box to go. (if subscribed separately; ultimate tv pack is RM60 and plus box is RM20.) This post has been edited by Oltromen Ripot: Aug 30 2022, 10:22 AM |
