QUOTE(taingonghai @ Jul 5 2008, 03:14 PM) NK :Lagenda 110 u bore till till 150? What are your bore x stroke dimensions? I feel even if carb setting ngam, your bike still won't be reliable la. How much you need to skim off and bore to attain 150cc. Cyclinder wall sooner or later oso will crack at high rpm. Caya la I know. I'm using a 58.75mm piston...Stroke still standard...54.0mm...Last time my old mito big bore kit 170cc also same. Setting semua cun, tapi bila selalu lenjan, cyclinder wall can't bear the strain or the heat. I've used that setup since last Oct...Even had a long ride from KB-Kuantan-KB in one day(Riding at average speed 130km/h..complete the travel under 24hr)... Had no damage before until now... The key to this long lasting big-bore kit is the block... If the block is some chicken made Racing Block, then it won't last long... Mine is original Yamaha block, resleeve to 62mm, using 58.75mm piston... Sent it to Thailand for the sleeving process...their workmanship and the sleeve material are the best... Cost about Rm300 just for the block... That piston damage has nothing to do with the block or piston size... Its all about the old valve...If I've changed the valve on last moth top overhaul, this thing won't happen... QUOTE(charge-n-go @ Jul 5 2008, 03:36 PM) It cost me around Rm500 just for the head modification, resleeving the block, and piston kit...Exclude the camshaft, port & polish, clutch, etc...really burnt some of my $$$... The bore x stroke is = (bore)58.75mm x (stroke)54.0mm... Do the math and U got 146.38mm³... This post has been edited by nk3371: Jul 5 2008, 08:17 PM |

Just finished painting my friend's Suzuki Smash Pro 110...
Now it looks like this... ![]() Just a replica from Suzy team in Malaysian Cub Prix Championship... Using only Samurai spray paint...and it's Rm5 clear coating... Spent about Rm100 including the sticker...quiet cheap I guess... Now, still waiting for the Racing Boy 811 sport rim for this Smash Pro...Maybe will arrive next week... luckily Racing Boy got sport rim for this Suzy.. If not, don't know where to find sport rim for this bike... This post has been edited by nk3371: Jul 12 2008, 07:04 PM |

QUOTE(adioz88 @ Jul 16 2008, 07:28 PM) suzy tu tukar set footrest, terus jadi track bike Donno if the gearbox set can fit on EX5 engine or not...hehe ejos dah ada gaya bro, set gear wave 125 boleh masuk kat ex5 hp tak sekali crank shaft barang ori....yahuu but for the crankshaft its possible... My friend installed if on his EX5 Dream... cost around Rm300 just to machine, centering the crankshaft to fit in EX5 crankcase... Also need to use EX5 Class 1 oil pump+clutch side crankcase set...cost around Rm400 for the set... need to change the conn rod, using EX5 Class 1 block...if not, need to make a spacer for the block... Total cost just for the crankshaft machining and main parts nearly Rm1k already... not including the engine setting and tuning cost around Rm400... |

QUOTE(petbo @ Jul 31 2008, 07:32 AM) wait a sec, I think that is the reason why they don't know about that damper...fyi,ive ask sm wrkshop,n they noe nothin bout autoclutch damper... myb bcz its in english...hehehe n im a noob oso dnt noe so cn u tell me wts autoclutch damper in malay? n hw 2 lift d auto clutch shoes? n cn u tell me wt wil/myte hapen if i remove it instead of replacing it wf racing 1... maybe you can ask 'getah auto clutch'... Here @ kelantan, we called it 'getah lining arm'... It malay names may varies in other states... On my understanding la, if U remove that damper, the auto clutch shoes will shrink inside and take a longer respond to make the bike moving... It'll take much more time and engine rev to spread the shoes to grip with the auto clutch housing... If U installed racing damper /kasi lapik supaya tebal damper tu, the auto clutch shoes will spread even more tha standard one... but not until they touched the auto clutch housing la... If they've touched the auto's housing means no free for engine to run when U stop the bike in gear... QUOTE(EyraYus @ Jul 31 2008, 04:28 PM) Not the spring...it's a hard rubber/plastic bush placed in auto clutch assy to support the auto clutch shoes....Need to disassemble the auto 1st baru bleh nampak... |

I've change my OEM Yuasa battery after using it for 2 years....
still can use that battery if recharge it... But I got so much $$$ back then...So I've bought Yuasa maintenance free battery...the acid one... Got it for Rm48 only...(normal one Rm28) still using it since 2006 untill now...never check/maintenance it since I've installed it on my bike... still 'strong'..the horn still sounds loudly... |
