where can i get standard carb and block 4 krisss 110?
how much it cost? anyone?

original carburator would cost you around RM 150-200 ... and for your block it would cost you around RM 70 (sometimes it would come together with the piston )

correct me if i am wrong..but i just follow the manual..i also riding wave 125s..after certain milaeage the interval is diff..if not mistaken around 3000 or 4000 km interval..i have been doing this since the 1st 2 service when the bike is new. the shop ppl tell me come to change the oil at 1000km..den next change is 2500 km. then change it at interval of 3000km..is it correct? mine has done 13000km..i change every 4000 - 5000 km..as mostly i travel on highway.any suggestions?

Hmm one bottle of engine oil is equivalent to RM15 petrol... I'm not really complaining. Last time i used to change after 1500km, but it really feels better after oil change + engine cleaning(open up and clean)

so the most conservative here is 1500km. 4000km sounds too long for motor oil change. Maybe I will adopt 2000km interval between motor oil change. Any response to these ? blush.gif

For me, since i rarely ride my bike, so i usually change my engine oil 10000km. Every two times, i change the oil filter as well. Each time i will change the good engine oil(in my own point of view tongue.gif) Like the Shell advance rm18. (the prie is last year august)...and every 1500km i will check my engine oil if it is turning to dark already or not. laugh.gif

1. early this month go n service front fork because one side leaking but the shop ask to do both better.

2. when they check my brake, they said the brake pump jem n need to do service also.

3. then after took out the brake unit said no point service, just change the pump unit.

4. when they install that time, they r not doing it properly, cause me to repaint my spot rim.

5. when they fix the rim also not properly done cause me to change the busher (swap back from left to right)

6. but the most make me shock to death is all the thing that they have done almost cost me my life........wtf??...........because the pump that they install is for 125Z n mine is NSR RR. the size is different n they force my brake to use something that is not for my bike n even worst the brake jem more worst n about to cost me a new brake disk.

7. today, i go back to my NSR specialist they have explain from a to z n for 12 years, they never change any single brake pump for this NSR n just do the service only n that is the quality of original honda parts.

8. today also i've to change the brake pump again to the original parts.

9. n the very-very useless bike shop i've ever found is in sek. 4 kota damansara, behind restoran mamak. i'll post the pic n name of the shop tumoro after i go n serang their place tonite. maybe bakar the whole shop................

im using Honda Wave 100..usually i will change in every 2000km interval..and im using Honda 4T btw, only RM13 smile.gif

add: from what the mechanic told me, it is not recommended to use a different 4T..it is a best practice for us to use the same brand/type of 4T everytime we change the oil..

============================================

1 question guys..what is the most recommended tire for a long-distance purpose? its for Wave 100..
let say from Shah Alam to Cyberjaya, 30-40 minutes on the road..go and back (twice) everyday..

of course the 125z cannot take the breke load la friend..how heavy is NSR compared to 125z. And the pump is not original it seems (125z) Is it original NISSIN ? or china made ?
anyway... normally you just need to service it enough already. By the way is it brake pump or brake caliper you are mentioning here. Usually the caliper only give problem.

it is quite true because each brand of 4T have different formula.

Long distance... use tubeless... very easy to convert to tubeless... and the tyre only cost you around RM 10 more than normal tyres. If you still want to use tube tyres... then you can try using any tyres with silica compound. Read more in the net to get more regarding what is silica compound & what can it help in your journey everyday. There are few brands... one of it i know is Michelin Pilot. Google around and see... nod.gif

I'm thinking of modding my Wave 125 to install a rear brake disk. I've already changed by rear brakepads more than 5 times for the past 3 years of use and finds that it is annoying whenever everytime braking, the loud screeching sound coming in from behind when u brake (means that brake pad haus oledi, need to change again ... sigh ...) any ideas how much it will cost?

i'm using yamaha 125z too... biggrin.gif
actually there is no need to change the whole pump unit... blink.gif
u just need to do a minor service to your pump unit... biggrin.gif
1st check the break oil level...
topup if necessary...
secondly do bleeding.....
maybe there is not enough pressure or have a lot of air.....(there is why the important of bleeding or 'jujus' in malay)
is your break unit is still jammed after that, sad.gif maybe u should check the oil ring (inside the pump unit)....
replace it with the new one.... (the new one is just cost around rm6,if i'm not mistaken)
next check the spring....(also inside the pump unit)
replace it with the new one....(if u're buying the oil ring set,it comes together with the spring)
replace it carefully....
after all the replacement is done, bleeding it until there is no air inside the pump unit....
it will safe u a lot of money here if u done it by yourself..... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
