Bought the base unit from machines. Super fast and silent… my dream Mac mini lol. Been having problems driving a 4K and 5k monitor. This has completely solved my issue with laggy behavior when using graphic intensive applications… love it!

I bought it from their online store. I was browsing their site and saw Mac studio added. However it was marked as unavailable. The next day it suddenly show in stock but I was still contemplating as I actually wanted a custom made with max ram and higher storage. After looking at the delivery dates (until 6 weeks wait) I decided to just get it. Overall very satisfied with the outcome. My old Mac mini I max out to 64gb ram and constantly memory usage gone up to 48gb. With this new machine, using the same applications, I only use max 20gb ram… talk about efficiency!!

Bonus is when running at full capacity I don’t hear the stupid fan and my device is still cold, unlike Intel Mac, fan blows like mad making it noisy and temperature hover around 90+ degrees. I don’t use animation software. Mainly for video editing encoding.

You’ll definitely be enjoying yours too when your unit arrives. Coming from an Intel Mac mini, it was one of my best purchase to date!!

Yeah I just placed an order for VESA version... but with regards to warranty I’m fine with it because I feel it should be able to last long fingers cross!

Hmm not sure which Apple products you were referring to. My trusty Mac mini and mbp runs fine after so many years… I just feel for displays, not many complained about quality issues across the board via many Mac forums. Sure they do have issues relating to camera and audio but were also fixed via software patches. That’s what made me confident with my purchase 😄
