Why Preve and Suprima became failures?

  2011 Tuah by Italdesign Guigiarro. First proper Proton design with an Internationally acclaimmed design company.    Preve.    Inspired from this?:  Proton's greatest car design and effort. Seriously, Why the the car was a flop? Is this because the Civic, Altis or even Elantra sold at the time? Is this because Malaysians still thinking Hatchback design are useless? Released in a wrong time? Suprima had the potential to sold in Europe countries, it had a good Euro design, but failed to do so. So sad, money being wasted by Proton.😢😢😢 What do you guys think?
