if u want it to look perfect...

[1] use super hard glue (gam gajah) ekekeke
[2] fill the crack slit with bondo...
[3] sand paper it properly.. keep rubbing till u feel like touching ur GF skin.. (if she' smooth enuf la)
[4] respray... if u're not confident enuf in spray handling... send it to pro... extra money for better quality

Added on September 23, 2007, 10:50 amadditional info... ppl use filler not to make the surface bumpy or wrinkling... filler is to fill up holes, crack.... that's y afer that need to sand paper it... to remove unused filler, so only the filler in the crack left... on the surface is gone

I already pokkai getting this casing..LoL

So..today i tried detaching the front panel..Which comes with a mesh grill also..Took me a while to take out the grill..Korek and korek only..Finally take out and unscrew the side panel..Looks like the crack is really really bad!

user posted image

And you see..This crack here crack in the middle where an acrylic piece is sticked there..Which i don't know why..I think for the LED purpose..

user posted image

So i should go on glue first and use bondo ?? Is there any spray that has like gliter on it but it's not metallic??

Any expert that can guide me ? Really appreciate..

some clear epoxy should do the job.

then cement or bondo the place...and a complete respray of the front panel.

Well, it all depends on how much that casing is worth. If it's a rm60 case or even anything below rm100 then ur better off buying a new case again. It'll cost u more to repair it nicely in the end.

Ya teh epoxy will work. Just use it on the inside. Then squeeze sum into
the gaps in the crack. Leave to harden then sand it down nicely n paint back matt black. shud look ok.

i think u use too much force when u sand it, thts y crack gain sweat.gif

B4 apply the epoxy make sure u sand the surface so that when the expoxy harden, it can make a stronger hold. Need atleast 1 day to harden man! . good luck.

Haha..i shall leave it like that for now..Took me ages to take out the front panel..Raidmax seems to make everything tough to install and take out...And i already broke a mobo screw thingy and a screw in hole...I wonder if it's me putting too much pressure or the casing..

I try sanding it a lot and a lot of times..It seems to have a slow effect..maybe i use wrong sand paper..

Many hav trouble gettin' best results frm epoxy due to improper mixing. Wht u need 2 do is get the quantity of resin & hardener as equal amount as possible.

2nd, mix it throroghly b4 applyin' but within working time stated on package yea.

Dont 4get 2 handle glued item only after full hardening (also refer to packaging). Buzz me in YM / MSN if u still hav trouble dude. Kesian u & ur casing
