As for abalone, the bigger they are the whiter their meat is. That is like eating geoduck meat. I prefer small size ones because they are much more sea sweet. However if you slice them thin enough you can wrap with salmon egg and sea urchin. A pinch of Ako Aranami Shio and a dash of lime. Supremo.

But sometimes too tight is not good ler. It will not be tender enough.

But because of its large size it did taste a bit like "steak". I mean the texture. You can enjoy the buttery and saltish taste even more.

The expensive can abalone is mostly Calmex from Mexico and Deep Sea Shell Fish from Australia.

Calmex is more expensive then Deep Sea Shell Fish as the calmex abalone are bigger and better quality.

Abalone size come in 3cm, 3.5cm, 4cm, 5cm and 5.5cm.

Not necessary expensive for Japan abalone. It depend the type, from which state of Japan and quality.

Generally, Japan abalone is the top quality among many country.

RM 400- RM 1000. Weight 45kg to 55kg. Fresh one too.
Local delights. Especially during MCO. Can find that always fly around but can’t fly due to MCO
