Reverse osmosis water + coolant - can use but not recommended
Distilled water / soft water + coolant - Good
Tis is so wrong . Some distilled water those use on car baterry refill might added acid . Need read the label on bottle carefully. RO water with coolant is the right way , RO water filter out 99% impurity in water.

QUOTE(Balanced @ Feb 15 2022, 04:32 PM) Distilled water can use. What you are saying is battery water. Battery water some have added chemical. RO water is not really recommended. Sure it has no impurities but its also a hard water and ionicly unstable. The atoms will try to stabilise itself by eating at your aluminium. Best water is soft water which we cannot buy. This water added sodium ions to stablize the water. Thats why best is premix coolant at factory. They will use the correct type of water to dilute their coolant. Becoz when u say distilled water in topic related to car , ppl will think distilled water = battery water . Most coolant got write on bottle mixture with purify water
