Not this kind of nasi kandar. Even if I go to shop I will ask them to tapau and perap for 15 mins etc ( if tapau, my journey back ) then makan. Ayam dada goreng pack seperately if tapau so don't get soggy Nasi kandar when perap in the packaging pergh the taste beyond this world when the rice itself absorb the curries Tongkat Ali, tupai, and 1 other liked this post

Banana leaf rice all the way. Most of the Indian restaurant put extra spices on top of their staple curry powder. Mamak on the other hand most of them use very generic recipe. Mostly use curry powder with minimal spice mix. Just plain sucks Bossku_Johor and waters liked this post

QUOTE(herojack41 @ Feb 14 2022, 12:13 AM) lol like i said it's a lifestyle eating not dieting, so it differs from individuals to individuals depending on what clean food is available to you.for me i am currently doing tuna salad with 2 toasts / a simple breakfast set (2 eggs / 1 ham / 2 toasts) for breakfast. and dinner some simple rice with vege/steamed fish/prawn. steam is the best lol. reduced amount of rice (i do weigh it lol) and little to no heavy kuah if possible. some almonds/fruits for snacks if needed. might not sound healthy to some who is doing strict dieting (they weigh everything with proper macronutrients ratio and calories counting). but that kind of thing doesn't last (been there). the rebound effect will make it worse. best is to incorporate food that is sustainable in your lifestyle (not too extreme like really bland food but not too heavy either) depending on what's available to you. |

QUOTE(Cyberbullies @ Feb 14 2022, 12:46 PM) Portion doesn’t matter here. false, get your fact right. If you need more energy by all means eat more. What’s important is the type of food you eat. If you exercise but still eat those unhealthy food, it won’t improve your overall health. even if you keep eating bad food, exercise still benefiting you. If someone managed to complete 5km run per session after few month of exercise compared that to 1km run per session initially, they are actually healthier. increased stamina its an indicator of being more healthier. if you had healthy liver, even if you are didnt eat food with nutrient, the liver will generate those nutrient for you (e.g cholestrol, amino acids, proteins, vitamins). but how to keep liver healthy? yes, keep it well fed, but not overfeed. also you are hentam banana leaf earlier, but it actually one of the healthiest food if you didnt take the meat of course. many farm animals are being feed with one type of food only, yet they can still be healthy, im not saying those farm animals that takes growth hormone of course anyway, im not saying you dont need healthier food, it just a bonus if you have access to those. but unfortunately it is not accessible by plenty of people, except for those mass produced vegetable from china of course. QUOTE(aPiT_OxyMoxy @ Feb 14 2022, 12:54 PM) This is the worst in my opinion other than the fried crap which Chinese like so much but it's so much of oil. I stop going nirvana long time even at taipan. Overpriced garbage U want best ..no such thing...they all have thier own hit and miss I like Kanna curry house with the following consideration 1) thier friend chicken is good proportion 2) thier sayur is ok - I skip the cucumber onion don't fancy it 3) I only take mutton curry from thier mutton curry pot. Fish curry is so so Asian rice pot has some pretty good banana leaf but i feel their star is the mutton varuval. Nice thick and wholesome flavor Acha curry house is also ok. Thier sambal ikan bilis is the bomb seriously but it's packed like shit |

QUOTE(sidthesloth @ Feb 14 2022, 05:53 PM) Kok Siong is one of the better ones for Nasi Kandar in Puchong altho it's not the best. Their curry is not generic curry like those you see in other mamak. Got some secret recipe spice mix. Good thing about Kok Siong is you can also makan Asam Laksa if you not in the mood to eat Nasi Kandar. Did you eat there recently? Cause I see the Indians not there, now manned by Myanmars |

QUOTE(N9484640 @ Feb 14 2022, 05:55 PM) Nope, but I remember only 1 Indian uncle always there frying the chicken only. The rest is manned by the chinese owner la. I'm pretty sure the chinese owner still there. You want eat best banana rice in Puchong? Go google Chakra catering service. IMO one of the best Banana Rice I ever makan. They open up a mess hall on their branch. For North Indian food, best I can find is India Gate at Puchong Puteri This post has been edited by sidthesloth: Feb 14 2022, 06:01 PM N9484640 liked this post
