QUOTE(herojack41 @ Feb 13 2022, 11:43 PM) any light food and if possible, reduce eating heavy food. being truly healthy involves changing your eating lifestyle anyway. it's different from dieting which is generally a short term solution and a lost cause for most. so it's better to change your preference for food. that may have more long lasting effect. |

QUOTE(herojack41 @ Feb 14 2022, 12:13 AM) lol like i said it's a lifestyle eating not dieting, so it differs from individuals to individuals depending on what clean food is available to you.for me i am currently doing tuna salad with 2 toasts / a simple breakfast set (2 eggs / 1 ham / 2 toasts) for breakfast. and dinner some simple rice with vege/steamed fish/prawn. steam is the best lol. reduced amount of rice (i do weigh it lol) and little to no heavy kuah if possible. some almonds/fruits for snacks if needed. might not sound healthy to some who is doing strict dieting (they weigh everything with proper macronutrients ratio and calories counting). but that kind of thing doesn't last (been there). the rebound effect will make it worse. best is to incorporate food that is sustainable in your lifestyle (not too extreme like really bland food but not too heavy either) depending on what's available to you. |

If you need more energy by all means eat more. What’s important is the type of food you eat. If you exercise but still eat those unhealthy food, it won’t improve your overall health. |
