Laptop cooler pads does make laptop runs cooler. I particularly like the cooler that has adjustable fan location so can target the hot spots.

I have this old cooler master metal one that is super useful to keep the laptop cool when you need to do some long hour things on it. Like diagnosing of the laptop is way too hot that needs opening up to change thermal grease or service the fan.

If you're like me
My laptop is so old, the fan doesn't work properly already and there is no replacement
Cooling pad is your life saver to extend it's life
