How the auction works ?
Bidder view online or they come to carsome/mytukar place ?
If view online, how bidder inspect the car ?
*
View online. They will take pictures of your cars and the bidders can view them.

I've only put my car for bidding on mytukar. They sent me a link to a page to view the live bidding and what time it will end. On that page I can see the bid value in real time.

So bidder can't inspect the car, only view
This is good if the car got internal issue where seller can hide it
What seller need to do at least paint the car nicely to make it look nice in the picture

Bidders are mostly if not all are used car dealers. They are experience in buying used car. So, they know what to look for.

They will send someone to inspect the car for valuing.
These are experienced people who knows parts costs and repair efforts.
they look at interiors, colors, leathers, etc.

Only carsome/mytukar staff will inspect your car during initial valuation.

The dealers who bid on the car DO NOT physically view your car, only view online.

During bidding, the car will still be in your possession, not parked at carsome/mytukar.

all depends on how desperate u are to sell the car..... even though i got a higher value during bidding, i held on till they asked me how much i actually wanted for the car..... you'll be suprised as to how much more u can get..... ask for the lower end of end user value.... it;s still much higher than the bidded value
*
After bidding process, u can still choose not to sell!?

If you sold through bidding, will be charged a few hundred bucks fee.

If sold directly to carsome/mytukar, no fee.

my wife sold her myvi last week. very easy process with carsome. made the appointment morning, got the quotation afternoon and then sign the agreement. later before 6pm already got the money. no hassle.

can i get higher if i sold it directly to other people? quite possible. do i have the time and energy to go through with puspakom and all the paperwork? not really. so ended up with carsome the best choice for me at that time.

I'm planning to sell my 2020 1.5 Adv Myvi to Carsome/MyTukar. My target price is to sell at RM49500.

Do you think I should try for bidding or directly sell to them?
I kinda have a feeling that bidding can help my realize my target price.
