Tyres are not a problem as can trade-in for better ones immediately after taking the car.

i think it boils down to 1. do you really want leather seats? 2. do you really want LED headlights? 3. do you really believe in extra airbags? #3 is the one impossible to retrofit. #1 depends on your willpower. if willpower not strong, then usually won't retrofit d. like i really wanted leather seats (but MT only for standard variant), hence i only had fabric. i've driven the car for 4 years, still stuck as fabric seat. no budget, no time, no will power to do the retrofitting. lol.. cempedaklife, Takudan, and 2 others liked this post

2019 Persona premium owner here. Since nobody talked about hi proton, allow me I'd say it's "okay", it has helped me in some situations especially in my solo driving times where I cannot tap my phone or tap the touchscreen. Yes, the touchscreen can be more difficult to navigate around compared to physical, solid buttons, especially when you need to keep your eyes on the road. Problems: - she randomly catches some keywords (I don't know what yet) and interrupts my song and the conversation in my car, to explain what's the song name and artist, this happens sometimes when people are conversing in the car. - she doesn't recognise owner's voice -- it's really not that fancy -- so if you have kids, it's probably gonna be a fun toy they will mess with. Nothing serious, unless you use their Baidu navigation, then wrong commands can potentially exit your navigation. Speaking of online navigation, I think it's good enough for main city roads, but I wouldn't trust Baidu most of the time, after one experience of it bringing me into kampung road. Will I still get premium? Yes, because I chose the 6 airbags. Hi Proton is a minor nice-to-have but I wouldn't pay thousands for it. Quazacolt liked this post

Baidu maps is.....for lack of a better word....crap The 2022 Persona will have the new Atlas UI instead of GKUI, haven't tried it before so no comment on that. |

add on, if you can afford the executive, don't consider the standard. I don't hate the standard, but the 60:40 folding feature is not something you always use, but you will wish yourself having it when the situation arises. there are 2-3 occasions where i had to borrow my mom's jazz to carry certain things just because I cannot fold the seats down. reverse camera is good too, as my batch's parking sensor is delayed. quite hard to gauge distance with the parking sensor. and reverse camera always useful in case of small critters (cats/dogs) or babies/kids running behind your car while you reverse. another feature you wun think you need, until you need it and you don't have it. i wish i have 4 speakers too. though that can be easily retrofitted (yet i have not done so) Quazacolt liked this post

go for 6 air bags, u can't add that later on, imagine like 5 years later u still have car with 6 airbags.
Hi-proton is hit and miss, but once you're used to it, it gave u convenience at certain success rate, when you adapted to it, the success rate will increase hence being more helpful to you. FC wise ok la, not gonna make u an instant poorfag, just u can't be proud if compared with Perodua, still miles better than those Turbo in Geely trust me. |

So don't blame your kids To switch off the Hi Proton trigger you need to do it on the HU itself though. Some voice feature don't even have to use the Hi Proton trigger word. One time I was playing music from USB, when my friend ask me what song was that, before I could answer, the HU answered for me (It reads out loud the name of the MP3 file) This post has been edited by dares: Feb 8 2022, 10:24 AM Quazacolt liked this post
