I am really surprised with the results today.
Didnt get a chance to the internet this whole day. Was outside so forgive for the lack of updates on the thread title.
I guess putting both DNF on it wouldnt be nice so i replaced with just a statement tongue.gif laugh.gif

Engine failure.
How often has this ever happen to Ferrari?!
We have been doing so much R&D and was deemed to be one of the front runners and yet we start with technical difficulties?!
Come on, Ferrari!
Don't get overconfident and put more care to usual work!

Raikkonen keen to move on from Oz
Sunday, 16 March 2008 07:30
QUOTE
Kimi Raikkonen was determined to look on the bright side after his incident-packed Australian Grand Prix, and has pledged to do better in Malaysia next weekend.

The world champion endured a nightmare start to his title defence, with a fuel pressure problem in qualifying leaving him 15th on the grid, and then two trips off the road in the race preceding an apparent engine problem in the closing laps.

"This is only the first race and the car itself was good when we were able to run alone, so I think we have a good car," said Raikkonen.

"There are many races left and every point that we can get is always a bonus."
Source

Just got a reminder from Kimi that it was just the 1st race, the start of the season.
Everything comes into play when the season and the team develops over it.
Still a bit frustrated with all the tech problems that the team has suffered over qualifying and the race but then i guess things will cool down over the races remaining.
What can i say?!
All the best to Kimi and Massa when they visit our country this weekend biggrin.gif rclxm9.gif rolleyes.gif

Overall, we have a fast car.
Look at Kimi...hustling up till 3rd thumbup.gif

Hope we'll be stronger this weekend.
Malaysian GP is ours flex.gif

Massa better start improving.
Otherwise we'll lose the WCC points.

Hecks...even Kimi strugglin a bit without aids tongue.gif
Spunned once.

If only:

1. Kimi did not had engine problem during quali...
2. Kimi did not let his frustration being held by Heikki succumbed him...

If only.... tongue.gif

Hope Ferrari does not waste too much time like last year.
Waited until a few GP's...then new aero package came etc.
WE WANT IT NOW!!!! laugh.gif

Hope we can get our 1-2 soon.

And...perfect topic description of our result in Aussie tongue.gif

Damn...those McPencuri still benefitted from our datas whistling.gif

I wonder if the ECU is really at fault.
Ferrari does use the magneti marelli before implementing to McLaren ECU.
But somehow the other team who previously uses MM doesnt have similar problem to ours.
So it might not be the ECU problem afterall doh.gif

The drivers wore protective suits and shoes that can stand extensive heat.
So, cannot feel any air on their foot tongue.gif

Well Todt has vacated his post at Ferrari, he will act as a consultant.
Regarding the recent form of the Scuderia, I will say this, its too early to know where the real pecking order is,wait till Europe.
As for Kimi run at the OZ GP I really dont know what to say, reliability gremlins have struck him again.....dunno how many times this will happen this season.....
