msc will not hold most of the records in F1.
senna was easily the fastest man in qualifying rounds. he still hold the records of pp per race.
65 pp in 161 starts. msc managed 68 in 249 starts. (correct me if i am wrong).
needless to say, msc inherited his prowess in the wet track. hugely talented.
a notable quotes from my all time favorite driver;

yeah...msc only hold it coz he live longer than senna. senna is the best f1 driver of all time....14 years he leave us all already. what a great loss to F1.

p/s: i still think senna's death is a conspiracy coz truly talented driver won't just let go the corner and hit the wall easily....

from my perspective, i don't see any benefit hiring another sport champion to race with another sport. i made this statement by seeing the performance of:

sebastien loeb, former WRC champion...too slow driving f1
sebastien bourdais, former champcar champion, always DNF lol....last time got 7th only lucky i think.

conclusion is , don't hire engineer to do the architect job...

mika is gud at driving under pressure , the ability kimi has yet 2 posses
therefore i think it's still a long way b4 kimi can become a legend

Although this is a Ferrari topic but I guess still able to answer ? By right he is still able to race but if he changes the car then he will lose positions for the qualifying session. Correct me if I'm wrong.

no disrespect to kimi but mika hakkinen is twice wc. kimi need another 2 to beat that. and another 5 wins to overtake
mika hakkinen. at the rate kimi is going now, he'll be up there soon.
but mika hakkinen will always be remembered for his awesome overtaking manouvre on msc and zonta during his active days.
