A kitchen cabinet maker told me E2 is the norm in Malaysia and questioned me if anyone fell sick due to long term exposure to formadelhyde in Malaysia.

Most air quality / formadelhyde sensors have a limited lifespan. I was told Dyson’s one would last lifetime. The noise doesn’t bother me much in fact my wife prefers to have white noise at night.

I’m happy with it. At least I have a peace of mind the air quality is good for my baby. The app is sleek and easily integrate-able into homeassistant. It can be noisy at max speed but it’s still tolerable for me. In fact its overall air quality reading is consistent with xiaomi one that I have in the living room. What I can’t verify is the formadelhyde sensor as my room doesn’t have the smell from furniture to begin with.

By the way, I bought a custom filter filled with activated carbon for the xiaomi air purifier in living room.
